National Geographic Series 1942; 17" x 28" site

One of the few rare works Arthur Beaumont composed, portraying the Life of the Army foot soldier.  He was commissioned by National Geographic Magazine and sponsored by the War Department to paint a series of sixteen paintings of the Army on maneuvers, The series appears in the November 1942 issue of National Geographic.
